Number of victims in Odesa after Russian attack increases to seven – regional authorities
An employee of the port in Odesa, who was injured in a Russian missile attack on Wednesday evening, has died, said head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.
"Unfortunately, the number of victims as a result of yesterday's Russian missile attack has risen to seven. This morning, a 46-year-old port employee died in hospital. Doctors were doing everything possible, but the injuries were too severe," he wrote on Telegram on Thursday.
As reported, Russian troops attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa region with a ballistic missile on Wednesday evening, damaging a civilian vessel under the flag of Panama, the container ship Shui Spirit. Six people were killed and 11 were injured.
