The weakness of Ukraine's partners will add to Putin's confidence in his desire to continue the war, he understands only strength, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is sure.

"I think that in the event of weakness of one or another partner, all this will make him quite confident in his next steps. His next desire is one – not to end this war (...)," Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic at the Ukraine – South East Europe summit in Dubrovnik on Wednesday.

According to him, the weakness of any of Ukraine's partners will inspire Putin.

"That is why we ask to strengthen us. And on security guarantees, and on weapons, and on our future after this war. And only force does he understand, in my opinion," the president said.
