Two dead, five injured in evening enemy attack on Kharkiv - prosecutor's office
Two people were killed and five injured as a result of a series of airstrikes inflicted by the Russian occupation army on Kharkiv and its suburbs on Tuesday, from 16:50 to 17:20.
"A pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was launched," the press service of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office said.
According to the investigation, an aerial munition hit the area near a water reservoir in the densely populated Saltivsky district of Kharkiv. Two people died: a 69-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man. Another five people were injured. Apartment buildings were damaged.
Also, strikes against Cherkaska Lozova (houses were damaged) and Mala Danylivka (a forest belt was hit) were recorded. No casualties were reported.
According to preliminary data, the Russian forces launched FAB-250 bombs with unified gliding and correction module from Tomarovka, Belgorod region. Two Su-34 aircraft were used for the shelling.
