NATO to provide even more aid to Ukraine facing difficult winter – Secretary General
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte predicted a difficult winter in Ukraine and assured that the alliance will increase assistance to Kyiv.
"NATO must and will do more to help Ukraine," the head of the North Atlantic Alliance said on Tuesday at the organization's headquarters during a joint press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
According to him, "Ukraine could be facing its toughest winter" since the beginning of hostilities.
Rutte noted the destruction of a critical energy structure in the country.
The Secretary General also pointed to the military support of NATO allies, which is "important for the stability of Ukraine."
