Ukrainian hackers switch off online streaming of Rossiya 1, Rossiya 24, twenty other TV channels – source
Ukrainian hackers conducted a massive attack on the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) and switched off the online streaming of propaganda TV channels Rossiya 1, Rossiya 24, Rossiya Kultura, RTR Planeta, and more than 20 others since this morning, an informed source has told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
According to the source, not only online streaming of these TV channels, but also television broadcasting in Russia is not working. It is reported that the information on the servers of VGTRK, including backup copies, online broadcasting and internal services do not work, there is no Internet and telephone connection.
The anonymous pro-Ukrainian hacker group Sudo rm-RF, which has already attacked targets in Russia, claimed responsibility, timing the attack on Monday to coincide with Vladimir Putin's birthday.
