Zaluzhny at UK Conservative Party Conference: We need comprehensive strategy to win
Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Valeriy Zaluzhny, took part in the annual conference of the Conservative Party in Birmingham, where he stressed that Ukraine, together with its partners, must win the war.
“First of all, I thanked the previous British governments for their military, humanitarian and political assistance, important arms supplies that helped change the situation on the battlefield. He stressed that Ukraine, together with its partners, must win this war,” the ambassador wrote on his Telegram channel.
He pointed out that the war in Ukraine is not only a struggle for the independence of the Ukrainian state, but also the protection of the principles on which the modern world is built.
“In order for this to be possible, we need a comprehensive strategy to win. A strategy that goes beyond simply holding the next attack or holding the next line of defense. Important elements of our Victory are investments in the production of Ukrainian weapons, the protection of airspace and the confiscation of frozen Russian assets,” Zaluzhny said.
He also noted that a long—term just peace is achievable - and the way to it is in the Peace Formula.
“Only the joint efforts of Ukraine, Great Britain and the European Union can ensure a peaceful and stable future,” Zaluzhny added.
