No delays in work of defense industry despite attacks on energy system – Kamyshin

Ukraine's defense industry is working on schedule despite Russia's attacks on the energy system, and there are no production delays, Adviser to the President of Ukraine on Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshin has said on Wednesday.

"Our defense industry has implemented a program to provide critical elements of the system with energy supply, so that we can work autonomously. And today, even despite the shelling of the energy sector, in the most 'difficult' cities, our defense industry has worked without failures, there has not been a single day of production delays," he told a press briefing on the sidelines of the Second International Defense Industries Forum (DFNC2).

The adviser emphasized that this is a great achievement of people working in the defense industry, in particular plant workers, "doing work in difficult conditions, under shelling, with limited energy supply."

"But plans are not disrupted, schedules are fulfilled, and the defense industry is working smoothly," he said.
