Zelenskyy awards 18 military with Hero of Ukraine title, 10 of them posthumously – decrees

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded the title of Heroes of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star to 18 servicemen.

Relevant decrees No.645/2024-647/2024, 653/2024-662/2024 and 664/2024-669/2024 dated September 30 were published on the website of the Head of state. By Decrees No. 653/2024-662/2024, ten Ukrainian servicemen were awarded the titles of Heroes posthumously.

Andriy Pilschykov, with the call sign Juice, who died in a plane crash while performing a combat mission in Zhytomyr region in August 2023, was awarded with the title of Hero of Ukraine by Decree No. 658/2024.

The ceremony of presenting awards to servicemen and relatives of the victims was held in Kyiv on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine on Tuesday morning.
