Memorial sculpture Heavenly Guard unveiled in Kyiv on Defenders' Day
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, together with the head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deineka, opened a memorial sculpture "Heavenly Guard" on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine in the new square of Heroes of the Border Guards in Darnytsky district of Kyiv.
As Klitschko said on Telegram, the memorial and the square were created with the support of patrons as a sign of respect and memory of the fallen Heroes of the 10th mobile border patrol Dozor (Guard).
"For the 11th year, our fighters have been resisting Russian evil and aggression. Ukrainians are fighting for their free and independent state. We will not give up, no matter how difficult it is. The real strength lies only in the unity of the nation, its focus on the main goal. Thanks to every defender of Ukraine! Honor and glory to our military!" said Klitschko.
