Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard reports on Monday from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky and Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Barhilevych.
"Today, we spoke in detail and for a very long time with Commander-in-Chief Syrsky and Chief of the General Staff Barhilevych. More than two and a half hours. Reports on each of our front lines, our further capabilities and specific tasks. It is a very difficult situation," Zelenskyy said in an evening video address.
The president said the most important thing is to put pressure on Russia by all means and instruments in order to achieve a real and fair peace for Ukraine as quickly as possible.
"Everything that can be done during this autumn, everything that we can achieve, we must achieve. And this depends on everyone in the Ukrainian team. Now we need to work as hard as possible before Rammstein," Zelenskyy said.
