Russia attacks Izmayil with drones: three dead, 11 injured, incl a child – Odesa administration
The invaders carried out a massive drone strike on Izmayil in Odesa region, as a result of the shelling three people were killed, 11 were injured, among them a child, said head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper on Friday morning.
"This morning, the enemy resorted to the large-scale terror of Izmayil. The Russians launched attack drones in the south of our region. The work of the air defense forces continued for a long time and strenuously. Unfortunately, three people died as a result of the attack: two women born in 1934 and 1955 and a 73-year-old man. Eleven people were injured, including one child," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
Damage to private and apartment buildings and cars is also reported.
"As a result of the attack, several fires broke out, which were promptly eliminated by our firefighters. Law enforcement officers record the consequences of a terrorist act by Russians. All necessary assistance is provided to people," Kiper informed.
