Construction of fortifications in Mykolaiv region completed – Shmyhal

The construction of fortifications in Mykolaiv region has been completed by 100%, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.

"The government has allocated UAH 567 million directly to the region for the construction of fortifications. Currently, the work has been completed by 100%, the facilities have been transferred to the balance of the Regional Military Administration," Shmyhal said at an off-site meeting of the government in Mykolaiv region on Thursday.

The Prime Minister recalled that in 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers sent more than UAH 3.2 billion to Mykolaiv region for the restoration, functioning of critical, educational, medical infrastructure and the construction of defense lines.
