Zelenskyy agrees with Panamanian counterpart to develop cooperation in agriculture
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with his Panamanian counterpart José Mulino on the margins of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.
"We talked about the implementation of the Peace Formula, strengthening our cooperation within the UN Security Council, and the development of bilateral relations. We agreed to develop cooperation in agriculture," the Ukrainian head of state said on the Telegram channel.
Zelenskyy thanked Panama for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The press service of the Ukrainian president said that the parties also discussed the conditions under which it will be possible to ensure a lasting and just peace for Ukraine.
Also, from January 1, 2025, Panama will be a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
"José Mulino said he will try in every possible way to support Ukraine on this platform," the press service said.
Zelenskyy told the interlocutor about plans to open an embassy in Panama next year.
He also invited Mulino to visit Ukraine.
