GUR captures around 20 occupiers at Vovchansk plant
During an operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine (GUR) to liberate the territory of the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant, around 20 Russian occupiers were captured, an officer of the GUR's Timur special unit with a call sign "Viking" has said.
He revealed the details of the operation to liberate the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant on the air of the national telethon.
"The fighting lasted a bit more than a week. There was intense shelling from the enemy side. The enemy at the plant strongly resisted, but in the end, we completed the task," the scout said.
He also said that GUR managed to capture the Russian occupiers during the operation.
"At the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant, up to 20 adversaries were taken prisoner, several dozen were destroyed. Also, four occupiers tried to leave the plant and were neutralized already on the perimeter of the plant," Viking said.
