Zelenskyy, Erdoğan discuss freedom of Black Sea navigation, Ukraine's recovery
During his working visit to New York, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the parties discussed enhancing trade and economic cooperation and the restoration of Ukraine.
The press service of the Ukrainian president reported that "special attention was given to enhancing bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as involving Türkiye and Turkish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine."
The leaders discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula in detail, emphasizing the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and Türkiye's key role in implementing the relevant point of the Formula related to food security.
Zelenskyy invited Erdoğan to visit Ukraine.
