Von der Leyen on Invincibility Points: These are precious energy shelters in times of crisis
Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, visited one of the Points of Invincibility during her visit to Kyiv and talked with firefighters of the State Emergency Service.
“When a Russian bomb hits, the State Service firefighters rush to tame the flames and rescue people,” von der Leyen said on X Friday. “We support them with power generators and emergency equipment,” she added.
Von der Leyen also announced of her visit of one of “President Zelenskyy’s invincibility points” and called them “precious energy shelters in times of crisis.”
The post of the Head of the European Commission is accompanied by a video report from a meeting with rescuers of the State Emergency Service, which was attended by the media famous dog Patron.
