Poroshenko transfers batch of quad bikes, buses to SOF

MP, leader of the European Solidarity faction Petro Poroshenko transferred equipment ordered by the military to several regiments of the Special Operations Forces (SOF), the policy force's website reports.

"I report to the SOF commander, General Trepak: all orders have been fulfilled. We continue to cooperate for the sake of Victory," Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.

The batch of transferred aid includes quad bikes for moving mobile groups, delivering ammunition and evacuating the wounded, buses for logistics, tires, command posts and washing and shower complexes that were ordered by military personnel.

Poroshenko noted that the SOF "act quietly, professionally and without unnecessary noise" and that "they are modest people who do not seek glory." "And when events occur, such as the recent ones in Tver region, everyone can only guess who is behind these operations: the SOF, the SBU or the Defense Intelligence Agency. The answer is always the same: no comment. I think this is the best recognition of the work of our specialists," the politician wrote.
