Kyiv hromada hands over 1,000 drones to fighters in Kharkiv direction
Kyiv has handed over 1,000 FPV drones to the fighters of the 3rd separate assault brigade, who are now fighting in Kharkiv direction, said mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko.
“Another 1,000 FPV drones were handed over to the soldiers of the 3rd separate assault brigade from the hromada of the capital. Today, military brigades are fighting in one of the hottest areas – Kharkiv,” he wrote on Telegram on Wednesday.
According to the mayor, in general, taking into account this batch, since the beginning of the year, the military of the 3rd brigade has received from Kyiv 2,000 FPV drones and 410 Mavic 3T UAVs, which the city has recently transferred.
“During the full-scale war, Kyiv sent almost UAH 600 million from the city budget to equip the 3rd assault brigade. Let me remind you, in general, this year, the capital has already allocated UAH 8.6 billion to our defenders. And we will continue to help them and look for all opportunities for this,” Klitschko stressed.
