Financing for medicine cost reimbursement program in 2025 will increase by UAH 1.7 bln - Radutsky
Financing for the drug cost reimbursement program Affordable Medicines in 2025 will increase by UAH 1.7 billion and will amount to UAH 6.9 billion.
As the head of the parliamentary committee on public health, medical assistance and medical insurance, Mykhailo Radutsky, reported at the Affordable Medicines forum in Kyiv on Wednesday, this is provided for in the draft state budget for 2025.
"This is the largest amount since the program's inception," he said.
Radutsky also said that by the end of 2024, the parliament plans to adopt "several bills that will improve the conditions for pharmaceutical production in Ukraine."
As reported, UAH 5.2 billion is allocated for financing the reimbursement program in 2024.
