Center for Countering Disinformation: No Ukrainian diplomats or Ukrainian citizens among casualties in Lebanon
The Center for Countering Disinformation called the information from enemy Telegram channels about the alleged wounding of the First Secretary of the Ukrainian Embassy in Lebanon Mykola Khomenko as a fake as a result of an explosion in Beirut (Lebanon).
"Having verified the information from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and the Ukrainian Embassy in Lebanon, the Center reports that there are no Ukrainian diplomats or Ukrainian citizens among the dead and wounded," the center said in the Telegram channel.
"Russian propaganda is spreading such fakes to accuse Ukraine of collaborating with terrorist groups and sowing mistrust in the international community," they said.
