Thirteen people injured in enemy drone attack on Konotop
Last night, the Russian occupation forces inflicted a massive attack on the critical infrastructure of Konotop, Sumy region, using Shahed kamikaze drones, Sumy Regional Military Administration has said on Thursday morning, reporting 13 injured as a result of the strike.
"On the night of September 12, the enemy carried out a massive air strike on the energy and civilian infrastructure of the Konotop community. Russian used Shahed kamikaze drones, targeting them, among other things, at residential buildings, educational institutions and medical facilities," it said on the Telegram channel.
Thirteen people sustained injuries of varying degree as a result of the enemy attack.
Earlier, Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin said that two civilians were seriously wounded. He also said the situation with power supply in Konotop is critical as the power infrastructure has suffered significant damage.
