Kursk operation financed from general defense budget – Shmyhal
The military operation in Russia's Kursk region is financed from Ukraine's general defense budget, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said on Tuesday.
"Ukraine is conducting a defensive operation on all front lines. We finance our security and defense forces, our Armed Forces from the common budget. There are no separate budgets for separate defense or offensive operations. We have one budget for our Armed Forces," he said at a press conference in Kyiv.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this budget is being implemented and the funds are sufficient.
"The Kursk operation is not singled out as a separate budget. The Kursk operation is a defense operation on the front line with the enemy," he said.
