URCS volunteers meet evacuated residents of Pokrovsk in Kropyvnytsky
Volunteers of the Kirovohrad regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) met an evacuation train that arrived from Pavlohrad to Kropyvnytsky with residents of Pokrovsk who were forced to leave their homes and apartments due to the proximity to the front and the danger of shelling.
"Each of those who arrived received the necessary attention and assistance - from medical consultations to information support," the URCS reported on Facebook.
Volunteers organized temporary rest areas at the Kropyvnytsky railway station. The evacuees were provided with tea, food, and essential items. In addition, specialists provided first psychological assistance to the evacuees, helped them adapt to new conditions and find temporary housing.
