Zelenskyy discusses priority needs of Ukrainian Army with U.S. Congress delegation in Italy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with a U.S. Congress delegation led by Senator Lindsey Graham as part of a working visit to Italy.
"I informed them about the situation on the front lines, the results of the operation in Kursk region, the consequences of Russian missile terror. We separately discussed the priority needs of our soldiers," Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel on Friday evening.
The president added that some of the key priorities remain the receipt of additional air defense systems and missiles for them, as well as the expansion of training missions for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters.
Zelenskyy thanked Congress, President Joe Biden and the American people for "bringing together a just end to this war."
