Umerov outlines priorities of 24th Ramstein-format meeting
Defense Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov has outlined the key priorities of the 24th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Germany.
"The 24th meeting in the Ramstein format began. Our focus: 1. Providing Ukraine with air defense systems and interceptors. 2. Ammunition and equipment for our brigades. 3. Strengthening Ukraine's long-range capabilities. In particular, by supporting and financing the Ukrainian defense industry," he said on Facebook on Friday.
The minister noted that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also came to Ramstein Air Base to address more than 50 defense ministers who are participating in the meeting.
"The President clearly outlined our priorities and goals that Ukraine and its partners are facing," Umerov said.
