URCS volunteers meet evacuation train from Pokrovsk in capital
Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) met the evacuation train from Pokrovsk in Donetsk region in Kyiv.
"An evacuation train from Pokrovsk in Donetsk region arrived in the capital. Volunteers of the rapid response unit of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and Kyiv region met the people who arrived in Kyiv," the URCS reported on Facebook on Friday.
The passengers of the evacuation train needed special conditions for transportation to their new place of residence. Volunteers transported 14 people with limited mobility, three of whom were bedridden, in special vehicles to a nursing home for the elderly and disabled in Kyiv region.
