URCS participating in evacuation of people from Donetsk region
The team of the Myrnohrad rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is participating in the centralized evacuation of the population of Donetsk region.
"Last week, volunteers, in coordination with local authorities, organized the evacuation of those who decided to escape from shelling. They were transported by an evacuation train to Pokrovsk, and then to Dnipro," the URCS reported on Facebook on Wednesday.
In Dnipro, volunteers of the Dnipropetrovsk rapid response unit of the URCS met the passengers of the evacuation train and helped them get to temporary shelters for internally displaced persons or relatives.
