Irish PM: Ireland, Europe will always stand by Ukraine
Ireland and the European Union will always stand by Ukraine and will not allow Russian war against Ukraine to become the norm, Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris has said on Wednesday.
He said this during a joint press conference with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, adding that both Ireland and the EU will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
The Prime Minister also said that Ireland will never allow brutal Russian aggression against Ukraine to become a norm.
Harris also said he has discussed Ukraine's path to the EU with Zelenskyy and underlined that Ireland will always remain a strong supporter of Ukraine in its bid to join the EU.
Harris, on behalf of the people of Ireland, invited the Ukrainian president to visit the country at any time.
