The Verkhovna Rada has dismissed Denys Maliuska from his position as Minister of Justice.
According to a live broadcast of the Rada's plenary session by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko (the European Solidarity parliamentary faction) on TikTok, 249 MPs voted in favor of Maliuska's dismissal.
Maliuska was first appointed as Minister of Justice on August 29, 2019, and was reappointed on March 4, 2020. Before his ministerial role, he was a consultant and private sector development specialist at the World Bank Group, providing technical assistance to the governments of Ukraine, Belarus, and Central Asian countries.
