Death toll in Poltava increases to 49 people, rubble clearing continues
The death toll as a result of the Russian strike on Poltava on Tuesday, September 3, has increased to 49 people, 219 people were injured, Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration Pylyp Pronin said.
"The elimination of the consequences of the strike on the territory of the educational institution is ongoing. At present, 49 people are known to have died and 219 injured. Rubble clearing continues at the site, search teams are working," Pronin said on his Telegram channel.
Previously, 47 people were reported dead and 206 injured.
