Ukraine's Special Communications Service, Latvian Defense Ministry agree on cooperation in cybersecurity – memo
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (State Special Communications) and the Ministry of Defense of Latvia signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and cyber defense, which will create a more effective cyber defense system and strengthen the security of both countries.
"This event became another confirmation of the strong friendly relations between Ukraine and Latvia and an important milestone in the development of cooperation in the field of cybersecurity," the press service of the State Special Communications Service reported on the Telegram channel.
The main areas of cooperation envisaged by the document include the exchange of information on cyber incidents and cyberattacks, joint exercises and training, the implementation of joint research projects in the field of cyber security and cyber defense, as well as the exchange of experience and best practices in countering cyber threats.
