URCS, SES join efforts in mine action in Mykolaiv region
The Department of Humanitarian Access and Protection of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) and the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region discussed joint work in the field of mine action.
“Special attention is paid to planning events aimed at raising the level of public awareness regarding the danger posed by explosive objects,” the URCS reported on Facebook.
During the meeting, which took place in Mykolaiv, representatives of the URCS handed over to the SES units sets of information and visual stands "Mines and Explosive Objects," which will be used during information sessions on the mine hazard.
