Shmyhal, Duda discuss support for Ukraine's integration into EU, NATO
On Saturday, on Ukraine's Independence Day, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with President of Poland Andrzej Duda in Kyiv, the press service of the Government of Ukraine reports.
"We value our friendly bilateral relations and the powerful assistance from the Polish government and people," Shmyhal said.
The parties discussed the support of Ukraine's European integration and Euro-Atlantic path. Denys Shmyhal noted that Poland made a significant contribution in this direction.
"Thanks to the proposal from the Polish side, they will help in the technical process of negotiations on joining the EU. There is an ambition to quickly go through this process," he noted.
In turn, Duda assured that Poland supports Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO.
