Duda: Poland supports, will continue to support Ukraine's struggle until its victory
Poland supports and will continue to support Ukraine's just struggle until its victorious completion, said President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda in Kyiv.
"For more than 2 years, you have been heroically fighting for your country and defending its independence. Paying the highest price. At the cost of blood, at the cost of life. Please remember that you are not alone in this most difficult test. Poland supports and will continue to support your just struggle until its victorious completion," he said at a joint event with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.
Duda emphasized that today Ukraine is fighting for freedom, and "the Poles know that independence is not given once and for all."
