Zelenskyy: First successful launch of new Ukrainian missile Palianytsia carried today

On Saturday, Ukraine successfully used a new class of weapons, the Ukrainian missile-drone Palianytsia for the first time, the enemy was defeated, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Today was the first and successful combat use of our new weapon - an absolutely new class of weapons, the Ukrainian missile-drone Palianytsia. This is our new method of paying back the aggressor. The enemy was defeated," Zelenskyy said at a joint ceremony with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.

The head of state did not name the location of the defeat.

According to Russian media reports, an ammunition depot in Voronezh region detonated on Saturday night.
