Klymenko: We have ambitious goal to open mental health, prosthetics centers for veterans in 2024
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine plans to open a mental health center and a prosthetics center in 2024 to help veterans in their rehabilitation, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko said.
"And, of course, this year we have an ambitious goal to open a mental health center and a prosthetics center. The mental health center is both somatic deficiencies that our military have and psychiatric problems," Klymenko said at the seventh Annual International Veterans Forum "Ukraine. Veterans. Unity".
According to the minister, veterans have problems with PTSD – post-traumatic stress disorder, and specialists are currently being trained, and without, so that veterans can be provided with assistance during vacations and treatments.
