There’s high probability of Russia’s shelling on Flag Day and Independence Day – National Police

Some 486 events on the occasion of the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine are expected in Ukraine except for Donetsk, Luhansk, Sumy and Kherson regions, the National Police of Ukraine said on Telegram on Thursday.

All police units are ready to provide enhanced security measures under martial law, said Maksym Akhrameyev, head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the department.

The head of the department stressed that these days there is a high probability that the aggressor country will launch numerous rocket attacks on the territory of Ukraine, therefore, special attention should be paid to a clear algorithm of actions during the air raid siren or missile danger signals.

"To ensure enhanced security measures, police squads, investigative teams, groups of explosives experts, dog handlers and other services will be involved. The national Police also appeals to citizens to take care of their own safety, respond to alarms, stay in shelters during their signals, do not touch suspicious objects, inform the police about violations of law and order," the message says.
