Air defenses destroy two of ten enemy drones, two miss targets – Ukrainian Air Force
Last night, the air defense forces shot down two kamikaze drones and another two were lost (fell down on their own), Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk has said on Thursday.
"As a result of active counteraction, most of the enemy missiles did not reach their targets," he said on the Telegram channel.
According to the statement, on the night of August 22, 2024, the Russian occupation forces launched ten Shahed kamikaze drones from the Kursk axis. Most of the detected drones hit the Ukrainian defense positions in the frontline areas of Kharkiv region.
