URCS mobile medical crews work in communities of Sumy region
Specialists of the mobile medical crews of Sumy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) constantly provide assistance to residents of the region's settlements.
"Over the week, specialists of the mobile medical crews of Sumy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society visited 44 settlements; provided medical consultations to 767 people," URCS said on Facebook on Wednesday.
In July alone, six mobile medical crews of Sumy regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society traveled to 158 settlements and provided medical consultations to almost 3,000 people.
On the territory of Sumy region, URCS mobile medical crews work in six communities. The team specialists examine patients, measure their blood pressure, determine the level of glucose in the blood and oxygenation.
In addition, the team representatives issue over-the-counter medications of general therapeutic action free of charge to stabilize a person's health. If necessary, they provide primary medical care on site or transport the patient to the nearest medical facility.
URCS is implementing the Mobile Medical Crews program in Sumy region with the support of the Swedish Red Cross.
