Cabinet allocates UAH 24 bln for purchase of drones for Security and Defense Forces – Shmyhal
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 24 billion for the purchase of drones for the Security and Defense Forces, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"Today we are allocating UAH 24 billion for the purchase of drones for the Security and Defense Forces. In the war with Russia, Ukraine relies on innovations, asymmetric responses and approaches. This is the key to our perseverance and future victory," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.
According to the prime minister, Ukraine has made a real breakthrough in the production and use of drones, in particular, the state has already contracted 1 million drones, and 500 Ukrainian companies produce UAVs.
