Russian troops lose about 1,330 servicemen over day - General Staff
The Defense Forces eliminated 1,330 occupiers, five tanks, 26 armored vehicles, 52 artistes, one MLRS unit, one air defense system, 55 drones, one cruise missile, 117 units of cars and special equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on enemy losses over the past day on Tuesday morning.
"The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 20, 2024 approximately amount to: about 601,800 people of military personnel (plus 1,330) people, 8,518 tanks (plus five) units, 16,521 armored combat vehicles (plus 26) units, 17,156 artillery systems (plus 52) units, 1,166 MLRS units (plus one), 926 units of air defense equipment (plus one) unit, 367 aircraft units, 328 helicopters, 13,864 operational-tactical UAVs (plus 55), 2,438 cruise missiles (plus one), 28 ships/boats, one submarine, 23,142 automotive equipment and tankers (plus 95) units, and 2,885 units of special equipment (plus 22)," the summary says.
