Partners' further delays with long-range capabilities secure strong foothold for Russia's offensive potential – Zelenskyy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said it was important for partners to decide on long-range capabilities, emphasizing that further delays were becoming almost the strongest foothold of Russia's offensive potential.
"We need sufficient range to protect Ukraine from Russian missiles and guided aerial bombs, from Russian troop movements and occupier pressure on key frontlines," he said at a meeting with the heads of Ukraine's foreign diplomatic institutions on Monday.
According to the head of state, "if partners lifted all existing restrictions on the use of weapons on Russian territory, we would not need to physically enter, in particular, Kursk region for the sake of protecting our Ukrainian citizens in the border area and destroying the Russian potential for aggression."
