Zelenskyy replaces ambassador of Botswana – decree
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Liubov Abravitova from the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to Botswana, appointing Oleksiy Syvak instead.
Relevant decrees No. 507/2024 and No. 508/2024 are published on the website of the head of state.
"To dismiss Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of South Africa Abravitova Liubov Oleksandrivna from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Botswana concurrently," the text of the document says.
"To appoint Oleksiy Volodymyrovych Syvak as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Botswana," the text of the second decree says. Abravitova was appointed Ambassador to Botswana concurrently on June 17, 2021.
