Since war start, Ukrainian Red Cross Society provides humanitarian aid to over 12 mln citizens
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has provided humanitarian aid to more than 12 million citizens.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion [February 24, 2022], volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, despite shelling and danger, continue to provide assistance to the population not only in frontline settlements, but throughout the territory of Ukraine. More than 12.7 million Ukrainian citizens who have suffered most from the war have received food and hygiene kits, as well as other services from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society,” the URCS reported on Monday on Facebook.
The URCS reminded that August 19 is World Humanitarian Day.
