Finnish President on operation in Kursk region: Ukraine has every right to defend itself
Finnish President Alexander Stubb believes that Ukraine has every right to defend itself by conducting an operation in Kursk region, since the Russian Federation regularly bombs the Ukrainian capital and has captured significant territories of Ukraine, the website of the Finnish state broadcaster Yle reported on Wednesday.
"We see no reason to limit the activities of the Ukrainians," Stubb said at a press conference on the Aland Islands (Finland), commenting on the operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to him, Ukraine can use weapons supplied by Finland on Russian territory. "We have no restrictions on what weapons and how Ukraine can use them. The starting point for everything is that Ukraine has every right to defend itself within the framework of international law," Stubb said.
