Ukraine receives EUR 4.2 bln from EU within Ukraine Facility program – Shmyhal
Ukraine received EUR 4.2 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported.
"The government will direct these funds to social programs, the humanitarian sphere and other important budget programs. We continue to finance war expenses only from our own resources," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
He recalled that since the beginning of the year, the EU has already provided Ukraine with more than EUR 12 billion in budget support.
"We continue to implement reforms that are important for our sustainability, development and future. European partners support these efforts. We expect to receive another tranche of assistance by the end of the year," he added.
