Disinformation Countering Center denies allegations about attempt on Umerov
The reports spread by Russian propaganda about an assassination attempt on Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov using explosive devices are fake, the Center for Countering Disinformation has said on Thursday.
"The Center verified the information in the Ministry of Defense and notes that it does not correspond to reality," it said on the Telegram channel.
The Center emphasizes that this is not the first time that Russian propaganda has carried out information attacks against Ukrainian officials, trying to destabilize the situation inside the country.
