Defense forces eliminate 1,230 invaders, 67 artillery systems over day - General Staff
Ukrainian soldiers killed 1,230 Russian invaders, eight tanks, 29 armored vehicles, 67 artillery systems, 54 drones, one cruise missile, 99 units of cars and special equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on enemy losses over the day on Facebook.
"The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 7, 2024 approximately amount to: about 586,370 people of military personnel (plus 1,230) people, 8,429 tanks (plus eight) units, 16,323 armored combat vehicles (plus 29) units, 16,451 artillery systems (plus 67) units, 1,138 MLRS units, 910 units of air defense equipment, 365 aircraft units, 326 helicopters, 13,212 operational-tactical UAVs (plus 54), 2,421 cruise missiles (plus one), 28 ships/boats, one submarine, 22,226 automotive equipment and tankers (plus 78) units, and 2,759 units of special equipment (plus 21)," the summary says.
