Ukraine expects the next tranche of EUR 4.2 billion within the Ukraine Facility program in the near future; in total, EUR 16 billion will be attracted from the EU under this program this year, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"Yesterday, the state budget received $3.9 billion in non-repayable aid from the United States. In total, this year we expect to receive $7.8 billion in budget support from American allies. We also expect the next tranche of EUR 4.2 billion within the Ukraine Facility program from the European Union in the near future. In 2024, Ukraine will attract a total of EUR 16 billion from the EU under this program," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.
He emphasized that Ukraine is on schedule for the implementation of all indicators, is implementing all reforms, and is also adopting all necessary changes.
"We have assurances from partner countries and international financial institutions that all external financing needs for this year will be met," the head of the Ukrainian government said.
