Zelenskyy: Ukraine evacuates its 30 citizens from dangerous areas in Lebanon

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine (GUR), the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine organized the evacuation of 30 Ukrainian citizens from the dangerous areas of Lebanon in the Middle East due to a military escalation threat, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday, August 4.

"Our country is currently carrying out the evacuation from the dangerous areas of Lebanon in the Middle East. GUR, the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine have organized the transfer of 30 our citizens. These are women with children who are safe now," he said in a video address.
